Outline planning permission has been secured for up to 95 dwellings at land West of Watling Street in Park Street, St Albans. Planning permission was granted by the Planning Inspectorate following a successful public inquiry appeal following refusal of the application at Planning Committee contrary to Officer recommendation and the site’s status as an emerging Local Plan allocation. The site is now in the process of being sold and will deliver much-needed market and affordable housing, direct improvements to and funding for local infrastructure, public open space, and biodiversity net gain.
