Scott Properties entered into a Promotion Agreement on the site in 2016 and promoted the site to the emerging Local Plan, securing a residential allocation in the Draft Plan. An outline planning application for up to 98 dwellings was submitted in 2016 following consultation with the Council, Parish Council, and local community. The application was approved at Committee in 2017 and the site was then taken to the open market, with the sale to Bellway completing in 2017.
